Davao! Part 4

We didn't pass the chance to pass by the controversial David. Personally, not really my sculpture of choice for a supposedly family oriented facility. The big statue was also not proportional - the hands were slightly too large.

Davao! Part 3

Spot the difference in these four pictures. :) .

Davao! Part 2

Impressive collection of birds and reptiles - not limited to crocodiles. Nice place to bring your children.

Davao! Part I

Philippine Eagle Center! There were many words to describe the great bird found in this sanctuary: Majestic, regal, handsome. Even the female eagles were described as handsome. It pays to listen to the "tour guide" when going around the area - you could learn a lot of stuff.

Many women in this trip were Euphorbia fanatics. There was no chance that we skip the flower sellers. We went to Monina's Gardens and it was enough of a treat for these "euphorbiacs."
We stayed at the Apo View Hotel. Had a great dinner at the Top of the Apo restaurant. Too bad it was cloudy -- we didn't get to see the great Mt. Apo. Great food here.

The Davao International Airport was pretty impressive. We arrived on the day right after the Asian Tourism Forum so everything was still spic and span. Not bad for a first time in Davao Trip. I didn't take many photos of the airport but I did let other people take photos of me and Dymrose. Both first - timers... so you could actually see a glint of over-eagerness in our eyes. Hehe.
